When SUN popped up to sky today, it would have been just another day for him @ his job. But for me and my friends who joined along... Dah 'Team 89' - reached a milestone: 2 years @ job.
IT had been a crisp n enjoyable journey so far. I really cherish our training days where our homepage was " masti ". I had an oppurtunity to run into guys from all over india, who shared passion to celebrate 'Life. Also this milestone puts an end to so cald bond with the company and people are set Free to fly.
Anyways days rolled off and i stand at a juncture where i think i know whats IT :) and i know where can i best fit-IN. In this context i would like to fire my views on Indian IT sector.
Firstly i would reiterate that IT is not an elixr, as people are made to believe. But what remains the most interesting aspect about People in IT is that they have leveraged the exposure given by IT sector. Its pretty hard to get an insight into the business process of companies, how they operate etc. otherwise. Also one will get a chance to mingle with all sorts of people from different geographical locations, resulting in expanding horizons. So people realized opportunities need to be made rather than passively seeking them. So theres lots happening on the entrepreneurship front and focus on domestic market. Thats the Silver line. But sooner or later i feel our education system at all levels need to be revamped to sync with the changing needs of present day generation.
I hope that a day would come where IT would be one among the options rather than THE ONLY OPTION on all scales.
